CNBC Interviewed HII CEO During New York City Fleet Week

On Friday, May 24, CEO Chris Kastner sat down with Morgan Brennan, co-anchor of CNBC’s “Closing Bell: Overtime,” during New York City Fleet Week to discuss how HII is delivering the advantage to our defense customers. The interview took place on the deck of NNS-built Intrepid (CV 11), while Ingalls-built USS Bataan (LHD 5) floats in the background in the Hudson River.
They talked about shipbuilding, AUKUS, workforce development, the state of the supply chain, inflation, autonomous and big data capabilities, and how the company is using AI to improve efficiency.
