HII literally wrote “the book” on federal cyber security standards. Our experts assisted the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in developing security protocols and frameworks, and applying practices to help mitigate cyber attacks.

HII developed the National Vulnerability Database (NVD), the world’s largest repository of known vulnerabilities. Today we continue to operate the NVD and perform cutting-edge research into zero day or undisclosed vulnerabilities and apply those discoveries to critical national security missions.
