Grant Hagen is president of the Warfare Systems group in HII’s Mission Technologies division. His group is responsible for delivering defense technologies to the warfighter through rapid hardware and software development and deployment. He previously served as president of the Cyber, Electronic Warfare & Space business group and as vice president of business operations.
Prior to joining Mission Technologies, Hagen served in multiple senior leadership roles at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division. He began his career as a submarine hull engineer on the Seawolf program. He also served in senior program and business development roles at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.
Hagen holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Arkansas State University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He has attended executive education programs at Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State University, and the College of William and Mary, and he holds project management professional credentials from the Project Management Institute.
He has served on U.S. Northern Command private sector panels and participated in the North American Aerospace Defense Command/NORTHCOM Civic Leader Program. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Muscarelle Museum of Art and on the Executive Committee of AFCEA International.
