Grant Hagen is president of the Warfare Systems group in HII’s Mission Technologies division. He is responsible for HII’s work in cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.
Hagen previously served as Mission Technologies’ senior vice president of business operations and was responsible for facilities, quality, and merger and acquisition integration, including the acquisitions of Alion Science & Technology, Hydroid and Spatial Integrated Systems’ autonomy business.
Prior to joining Mission Technologies, Hagen served in a number of director-level positions at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division. He began his career at Newport News as a submarine hull engineer on the Seawolf program and held various roles with the company in waterfront engineering, business management and aircraft carrier programs.
Hagen also served in various leadership positions for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, including director of programs and business development.
Hagen holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Arkansas State University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He has attended executive education programs at Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State University, and William and Mary. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Muscarelle Museum of Art and on the Executive Committee of AFCEA International.
