Scott G. Weldon

Vice President, Supply Chain Management

As Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Scott is responsible for all supply chain functions, including strategic sourcing, operational procurement, inventory control and material warehousing.

Scott began his shipbuilding career at Ingalls in 1998 and has held leadership positions in Supply Chain, Business Management and Finance. For a majority of his career, he
acted as business manager on multiple Navy and commercial programs, including LHA and LHD amphibious assault ships, DDG 51 Kidd-class destroyers and the Polar Tanker program.

Scott has also previously served as Director of Finance, as well as Accounting Manager. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Procurement Officer and held responsibility for Strategic & Operational Procurement. Additionally, Scott has assisted the Ingalls Apprentice School, acting as an adjunct professor for technical/occupational mathematics and earning the distinction of 2017 Instructor of the Year.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from The University of Southern Mississippi. He also holds professional certifications from the Institute of Supply Management and is a 2016 graduate of Gulf Coast Business Council’s Master’s Program.
