NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Dec. 15, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced that its UniversalPegasus International (UPI) subsidiary was awarded the engineering services contract for the Pleasant Valley Compressor Station Project in Virginia by Dominion Resources. The value of the transaction is not being disclosed.
The Pleasant Valley Compressor Station Project is a modification of the existing compressor station to accommodate increasing customer demand. UPI will provide detailed engineering and construction support services for the project.
“The award is recognition of UPI’s capability in performing complex brownfield modifications and upgrades to gas pipeline projects,” said Tom Davison, UPI’s senior vice president of operations.
