Stephen Fitts
Vice President, Contracts & Pricing
Stephen Fitts is vice president, Contracts & Pricing at Ingalls Shipbuilding. In this role, Stephen and his team are responsible for contract award and administration, estimating and pricing, and export/import licensing and compliance.
Stephen began his career with HII in 2013 and served as senior counsel for the Ingalls Shipbuilding division. He brought a depth of experience working with businesses on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues. Beginning in 2018, Stephen served as director of contract administration, where he supported building the Ingalls Shipbuilding division’s historic backlog of contracts.
Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama. Prior to joining HII, Stephen was an equity partner practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law, outside general counsel, and IP litigation.
