Kimberly Nastasi

Vice President, Integrated Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

Kimberly Nastasi, IOM, serves as vice president of Integrated Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at Ingalls Shipbuilding. In this role, she leads internal and external strategies across marketing and communications, special events, community relations, corporate stewardship, and government affairs.

Prior to joining Ingalls, Kimberly was chief executive officer of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc., and executive director of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Business Council, the Ragan Communications Leadership Council, and both the Propel Education Forum and Operating Board of the Mississippi Economic Council.

A graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, Kimberly earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication with an emphasis in Speech. She also holds a corporate communication certificate from Cornell University and studied Spanish at the Universidad de Cemanahuac in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Kimberly is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, the Gulf Coast Business Council’s Master’s Program, Leadership Gulf Coast, and Leadership Mississippi. She co-founded Coast Young Professionals and participated in Rotary International’s Group Study Exchange program in Brazil.

Her national leadership includes serving as past chair of the Winter Board of Regents, past executive committee member of the Board of Trustees, faculty member, and past chair of the Curriculum Committee for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management. She was also a member of the U.S. Chamber’s Committee of 100 from 2014 to 2016.

Recognized for her community impact, Kimberly has been honored as one of South Mississippi’s Outstanding Community Leaders by The Sun Herald, a Forever Young and Hall of Fame recipient by Coast Young Professionals, a Top 50 Business Woman in Mississippi by the Mississippi Business Journal, and as Executive Director of the Year by Hands On Mississippi.
