Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, will be hiring hundreds of entry-level (Engineer 1) positions this year to support work in its Engineering and Design (E&D) and Nuclear Propulsion (NPD) divisions.

The NPD division provides design, engineering, planning, reactor services, testing, radiological control, production refueling and nuclear support for aircraft carriers, submarines and nuclear facilities.
