HII offers summer internship opportunities with the HII Corporate office and the Ingalls Shipbuilding and Newport News Shipbuilding divisions. These are paid summer internships with students working full-time (40 hours a week) for 10 consecutive weeks. Many of our summer interns transition into Co-ops or accept full-time offers starting after they graduate.
