Named to this position in 2016, Green previously served as corporate vice president of strategy and corporate development and as vice president, component manufacturing, where he directed the manufacture of major components used in the construction of aircraft carriers and submarines. He joined HII in 2011 as corporate vice president of investor relations, where he was responsible for the company’s relationships with Wall Street analysts and shareholders.
