PASCAGOULA, Miss. (Dec. 16, 2014) -- Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced today the location of the new family health center designed exclusively for employees working at the Ingalls Shipbuilding division and their covered dependents. The center, scheduled to open next year at 2105 Old Spanish Trail in Gautier, will offer primary care, on-site pharmacy and laboratory services.
“It’s exciting to know that by choosing this location, we are making quality health care more accessible to so many of our employees,” said Edmond Hughes, Ingalls’ vice president of human resources. “It’s all about making it easier for our employees to take care of themselves and their families. It is all about investing in the wellbeing of our employees. We can’t succeed without them.”
The health center will be operated by QuadMed, a third-party vendor. When it opens in 2015, services will be available to eligible employees and their dependents who are covered by the Anthem consumer-driven health plan or preferred-provider option plans.
Following the Dec. 1 vote extending the collective bargaining agreement with Ingalls’ labor unions, all represented employees and their covered dependents will also have access to the new health center.

HII will open a family health center for Ingalls Shipbuilding employees and their covered dependents next year at 2105 Old Spanish Trail in Gautier.
