Ahmed Ayad is the chief growth officer for HII’s Mission Technologies division. Named to this position in August 2023, he is responsible for shaping and implementing the division’s growth strategy and driving compelling solutions to our customers’ most complex national security challenges.                        

Ayad is a senior executive and industry thought leader with nearly 20 years of experience supporting customers in the defense, federal/civilian and intelligence markets. He has extensive experience in strategic growth and capture management and deep knowledge in C5ISR, cyber, intelligent system engineering, IT modernization, cloud migration, and data analytics.

Prior to joining HII, Ayad served as vice president and growth lead for the defense sector at ManTech International. He previously worked as strategic capture executive at CACI Inc., senior capture director at Leidos Inc., and senior growth lead at STG Inc.

Ayad earned a master’s degree in international economic development from Southern New Hampshire University and a master’s degree in structural engineering from Baghdad University.
