HII Ready to Make On-The-Spot Offers for Fleet Sustainment Jobs at March 7 Recruiting Event

MCLEAN, Va. (March [3, 2023) — HII’s (NYSE: HII) Mission Technologies division will host a recruiting event to fill open positions in the Fleet Sustainment business group on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the NetCenter in Hampton, Virginia.

Positions are available for welders, mechanics, electricians, shipfitters and pipefitters.

Most of the positions are based in Hampton Roads, but national and international travel positions are also available.

“For 40 years, the U.S. Navy has entrusted HII to maintain and modernize the vast majority of its fleet,” said Nicole Goldman, vice president of Talent Acquisition at HII’s Mission Technologies division. “Join our team as we continue to support mission-readiness and the most powerful Navy the world has known.”

Hiring managers will be on-site at NetCenter to conduct interviews and make job offers to qualified candidates.

Entry-level opportunities are also available. “No experience? No problem!” Goldman said. “We have several entry-level roles that don’t require any experience, but do provide exciting training and advancement opportunities!”
