HII Mission Technologies proudly served as a theme sponsor for the 2025 Virginia International Tattoo, held April 24–27 in Norfolk, Virginia. This year’s globally renowned performance honored the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army (June 14), U.S. Navy (Oct. 13), and U.S. Marine Corps (Nov. 10).
As part of its sponsorship, HII invited 56 employees and their guests to attend the event—many of whom were deeply moved by the experience.
“My family and I really enjoyed the show—especially my wife, who only goes to football games for the halftime marching bands,” said Tim Armstrong, a U.S. Navy veteran and military operations analyst at Mission Technologies.
“It was an outstanding show and a great tribute to our military,” added Dana West, Navy veteran and procurement manager. “The HII video and program ad were very informative in highlighting what the company stands for.”
HII’s presence was featured in a full-page program ad and a pre-show video that underscored the company’s commitment to service, innovation, and support for the armed forces.
More than 25,000 people attended the four public performances, and over 12,000 students took part in two special educational matinees. The show featured military bands and ceremonial units from around the world.
