Three Divisions. One Mission.

Ingalls Shipbuilding

Employing more than 11,000 employees, Ingalls Shipbuilding is the largest manufacturing employer in Mississippi and a major contributor to the economic growth of Alabama. For 85 years, Ingalls has designed, built and maintained amphibious ships, destroyers, and cutters for the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard. The largest supplier of U.S. Navy surface combatants, Ingalls is simultaneously building four classes of ships.

Newport News Shipbuilding has for more than 140 years built ships that have served the nation in peace and war, in times of adversity and in times of abundance. The legacy of “Always Good Ships,” includes the design, construction, overhaul and repair of more than 800 ships for the U.S. Navy and commercial customers.

Mission Technologies

HII's Mission Technologies division develops integrated solutions that enable today's connected, all-domain force. Capabilities include C5ISR systems and operations; the application of AI and machine learning to battlefield decisions; defensive and offensive cyberspace strategies and EW; unmanned autonomous systems; LVC solutions; fleet modernization; and critical nuclear operations.
