Celebrating Our Nation’s 250th Independence Day

America turns 250 this Fourth of July, and work like ours at HII, serving the national defense for 140 years, is as important as it was at our nation’s founding. Our shipyards have 40 ships in some stage of construction, and we’ll deliver five of them over the next year. Our Mission Technologies work – connecting and strengthening America’s defense across domains – continues to grow. HII remains vital to our national security, and each of us has a critical role to play in that mission.
To meet this moment in our nation’s history, HII is playing an active role in rebuilding and revitalizing the defense industrial base. We are teaming up with proven manufacturers, and producing solid results. You should know, and you can be proud, that the next 250 years of America’s national defense are off to a strong start. It’s up to us to keep working hard and deliver.
