Whether it’s you or a loved one, we have all been affected by the serious nature of heart disease, which includes heart attacks and strokes. Now, you have the opportunity to make a direct impact in our community by participating in the Jackson County Heart Walk, hosted by the American Heart Association.
WHEN: Saturday, May 4 (Festivities begin at 8 a.m. Walk begins at 9 a.m.)
WHERE: Beach Park (600 City Park Street Pascagoula, MS)
Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans, with stroke being number five. This event allows every shipbuilder to have a hand in creating happier, healthier lives for our community members, families, and friends.
Shipbuilders can contribute to the cause in a variety of ways:
- Join our existing Ingalls Shipbuilding team
- Celebrate your status as a survivor
- Volunteer for setup and breakdown of our Ingalls booth at the event
- Attend the Heart Walk Kickoff Event on Friday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. in SS Exchequer, located in Admin 1.
