Our business thrives when our communities thrive. As a company, we actively support local community initiatives, charities and partner with organizations that engage K-12 students in STEM and we support our employees in their own efforts to make their communities and the causes they care about.
HII invests more than $110 million annually in workforce development, education and training initiatives. These initiatives begin by supporting early childhood education programs and continue with STEM investments in elementary, middle and high schools.

For eight hours each year, HII corporate employees give back to causes in the Hampton Roads community, from packing food at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank to preparing garden beds for Versability
Employees in Washington, D.C. offices collected and donated $2,150 to the Community of Hope for the 2022 Holiday Cheer Campaign, which provides gift cards to families living in the Community of Hope’s housing program.
