Patrick Hitt is the acting chief information officer at HII’s Mission Technologies division. Named to this position in April of 2023, he oversees all aspects of information technology for Mission Technologies, including enterprise infrastructure, collaboration solutions, application development and data analytics.

Hitt has more than 20 years of experience building and leading diverse technology environments and developing and implementing thoughtful, business-relevant technology solutions.

Hitt began his IT career at the Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute, an engineering development organization that later became Alion Science & Technology. He went on to serve as assistant vice president of corporate information systems and vice president and director of corporate information systems.

Hitt earned a degree in computer science from the College of DuPage. He is a Next Generation Leader in the InspireCIO Leadership Network and a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council.
